Design inspiration
Award winning architects RTA, have designed our Finesse homes to reflect the surrounding natural environment of Lake Waikare.
The concept for our homes is derived from the traditional Kiwi ‘boatshed’, which celebrates the unique lakeside location and establishes a strong link to the water’s edge. Materials include horizontal and vertical weatherboard, trims and screens.
Our vision for the overall streetscape is to find subtle references in the repetitive nature of traditional boatsheds found along the water’s edge. Though, layered with variation in the form of, materials and colour, creating interest and depth to the streetscape.
